״דע לפני מי אתה עומד״ – “Know before Whom

you stand constantly.” Hashem is always where we are, involved in the minutiae of

our life. This is the very backbone and foundation of our religion and belief system.

Do we sense this?

״כי נר ה׳ נשמת אדם״ “The soul of man is a

spark of Hashem.” We can’t escape or hide.
He lives and resides within us always.

״ועל ראשי שכינת א-ל״ – Hashem’s presence

is always upon us.

–״ועשו לי מקדש ושכנתי בתוכם - בתוך כל אחד ואחד״

“Make for me a holy place, so that I may

dwell within it — within each and everyone.”
That’s our core, our heart, our soul.

Does this knowledge pervade our

every moment?

Could we articulate it to a newcomer to
Jewish observance?

Signature nation-lifting movements is a concerted effort to increase awareness of Hashem’s presence throughout our daily routine. 

To educate our people and communities all over the world about the first and foremost precept in Jewish law  — "שויתי ה' לנגדי תמיד"  –
to have constant awareness of Hashem’s presence.

Awareness leads to action. This movement will shift the landscape of our behavior. It is the foundation that can help our people

avoid transgressing.

"אבינו מלכינו חטאנו לפניך"

“Our Father, Our King, we have sinned in Your Presence. ”על חטא שחטאנו לפניך“
For the sin we committed in Your Presence”

Everything is about לפניך!

 לפניך— “In Hashems’ Presence.”

Worse than the sin we do, is the sin of not being aware of His presence.  If we were cognizant that right now, we are in front of Him, and that He is observing our every

move, would we sin right before Him?

Therefore, we ask Hashem daily:

״והחזירנו בתשובה שלימה לפניך״ – “Influence us to return in perfect repentance for the sin

of ”לפניך”, of not taking Your Presence into consideration. ”לפניך” — In Hashem’s presence every moment. That’s where we all are. לפניך , becoming a household word, will serve as a constant reminder.
